ABOUT

KAIRA SEN

As a rising Junior at Wesleyan University, I am double majoring in Film Studies and English, with a minor in Integrated Design, focusing on the Art and Society concentration. My academic journey is a testament to my deep commitment to exploring the intricate ways in which visual and narrative arts influence, and are influenced by, the fabric of society. I aspire for a professional path that unfolds like an anthology, filled with explorations of the myriad ways narratives can be told and experienced.

My fascination with neo-noir films drives my exploration into the darker, more stylistic corners of storytelling, where the visual meets the psychological. This interest informs my approach to screenwriting and direction, where I aim to blend traditional narratives with avant-garde aesthetics to create compelling, thought-provoking cinema.

Having enriched my journey through diverse engagements across the Media and Entertainment industry, including film production, literary analysis, and content creation, my immersion in various facets of film, literature, and visual arts—each with its unique narrative and aesthetic goals—has honed a nuanced creative vision.

Whether I’m behind the camera, in front of the editing suite, or lost in the written word, I aim to contribute meaningfully to the ongoing conversation about art’s place in society and its power to enact change.
